Dresses & Jumpsuits

Measurements refer to your body size, not the garment. Our dresses are cut with 4–6cm ease. The relaxed silhouette is intentional.

Tops & Blouses

Tops are measured across the bust and shoulders. Most blouses have a relaxed drop-shoulder fit; for fitted styles, size down.

Coats are designed to be worn over knitwear. Measurements below reflect the garment dimensions — we recommend measuring your bust over a light layer.

Skirts & Trousers

Skirt and trouser sizes are based on your natural waist and hip measurements. Inseam lengths are consistent across sizes at 80cm (trousers).

How to measure.

Use a soft tape measure. Stand naturally in your underwear. Ask someone to help for the most accurate results.

Bust

Measure around the fullest part of your chest, keeping the tape horizontal and parallel to the floor. Breathe naturally — don't pull tight.

Waist

Measure around your natural waist — the narrowest part of your torso, usually around 2–3cm above your belly button. Keep one finger between the tape and your body.

Hips

Measure around the fullest part of your hips and bottom, typically 20–23cm below your natural waist. Keep the tape level and don't pull in.

Fit tips

When between sizes, size up — Shansy pieces are designed to drape, not cling.

Natural fibres soften and ease slightly after the first wash — account for this when sizing coats.
