Every fabric in the Shansy collection is independently certified. We work exclusively with mills that can demonstrate responsible water use, chemical management, and fair labour practices throughout their supply chains.
Linen is sourced from Belgian and French flax fields — one of the most sustainable fibres on earth, requiring no irrigation or pesticides. Our cotton is 100% organic, GOTS-certified, grown in India under fair-trade conditions.
We work with four factories — two in Portugal, one in Poland, one in India — that we've visited personally and vetted independently. Every worker earns above the living wage for their region. Every factory allows union representation.
We publish our full supplier list on our website and update it annually. We believe transparency is the baseline, not the aspiration.
Every Shansy order is shipped in packaging made from 100% recycled materials — no tissue paper, no plastic bags, no unnecessary extras. Our shipping boxes are biodegradable and printed with water-based inks.
We calculate the carbon footprint of every shipment and offset it through Gold Standard-certified reforestation projects in Brazil and Indonesia. This isn't a marketing claim — we publish our offset certificates quarterly.
